is a land use and zoning attorney with a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Miami. She lives in Miami with her family. Her first book, Goodnight Miami, which was also published with Ampersand, Inc., won a Gold Medal in the Florida Nonfiction for Children Category of the Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA) President’s Awards and also received a Gold Medal from the prestigious Mom's Choice Awards.
is a graduate of NC State University’s College of Design with a Bachelors in Graphic Design. Working as an independent graphic designer and illustrator, he resides in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife, Melissa, and their daughters Ava and Paige.
